WILPF’s Cuba and the Bolivarian Alliance Issue Committee invites you to join us in a new campaign to remove Cuba from the US State Sponsors of Terrorism List. Cuba assists other countries in need, and our harsh sanctions cause great harm and suffering to the Cuban people.
The Middle East Peace and Justice Action Committee (MEPJAC) is proud to announce that our committee, and the WILPF US Section, have signed on to the Apartheid-Free Communities Pledge. Information about this initiative can be found at apartheid-free.org.
The Greater Philadelphia Branch (GPB) recently donated six books to the Kensington Library in Philadelphia. Some GPB branch members also took a tour of the Lest We Forget Slavery Museum, and the branch partnered with Korea Peace Now to bring the film Crossings to the UPenn campus and Philadelphia.
Fresno Earth Democracy held a well-attended World Water Day event on March 22 that featured a quiet walk along the San Joaquin River, Native American flute music by Lance Canales, and reflections by Dirk Charley on water from an Indigenous perspective.
This year’s Earth Day theme “Invest in Our Planet” focuses on engaging governments, institutions, businesses, and the more than one billion citizens who participate annually in Earth Day to do their part. What campaign might your branch work on – not just on Earth Day, but all year?!

One of the highlights of this year’s CSW program was a special meet and greet organized by WILPF US on March 9th where members from Ukraine, Palestine, the United Kingdom, and the International WILPF Secretariat came together for an informal gathering to share about their respective regions work.
